Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) received record support at the two annual Shredding Events.
The September 16 event, sponsored by Desjardin Agent Deryck West and The Cooperators – Robert J. Cottell and Associations, was held in Mount Forest at the Wellington North Fire Service parking lot. These sponsors covered the costs associated with running the event, resulting in all funds raised going to CSGW.
Outstanding customers support saw $3,170 raised in donates and transactions for CSGW.
The second Shredding Event was held in Guelph on September 30. This event was an overwhelming success. So many boxes arrived at the Skyjack parking lot on Woodlawn Road West that the truck was full by 11:30 a.m.!
Patrons of this event were out in droves and generous with donations as well. As a result, $9,950 was raised – an all-time high for this event!
Thank you to Skyjack Inc. for not only hosting this event once again this year, but for sponsoring the cost of the truck. That means all funds raised go directly to CSGW.
The CSGW Board of Directors would like to thank everyone who helped us with record support to make these fundraisers the outstanding successes that they were. This includes Guelph Fire Service, our various media partners, sponsors, our loyal customers and our outstanding volunteers who literally do the heavy lifting! We could not run Shredding Events without YOU!
