CRIME OF THE WEEK – JULY 22, 2024 – Distraction Theft

(CITY OF GUELPH) At approximately 6:30pm on Wednesday July 3rd 2024, a theft occurred from a business, located on Clair Road in Guelph.

Two males entered the business, and while one male spoke to the store employees to distract them, the other male removed thirteen bottles of fragrances and placed in a bag. The two males then exited the store without paying for the items. Value of stolen perfume is $2,800.

Suspect #1 is described as 6’2”, 150 lbs, late teens-20’s, thin build, wearing a black hat, black glasses, brown tracksuit, a sweater that says “essentials”, and carrying a side bag – black strap beige/black.

Suspect #2 is described as 5’5”, 120 lbs, late teens-20s, thin build, having short dreadlocks, wearing a purple hat, black tracksuit, and a black side bag.
