CRIME OF THE WEEK – NOVEMBER 15 – Bank Robbery

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) At approximately 12:45pm on Friday November 5th 2021, a bank robbery occurred at the CIBC branch, located on Stone Road West in Guelph. Stolen was an undisclosed amount of cash.

Upon entry into the bank a male brandished a firearm and demanded cash. The male was able to exit the building by breaking through a window at the rear of the building. He was last seen fleeing on foot heading westbound on Stone Road.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, with a medium build, and was wearing a jacket with a hood and long pants.
