CRIME OF THE WEEK – JULY 19 – Break & Enter

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) Sometime overnight on Tuesday June 1st 2021, a break and enter occurred at two units located in a west-end plaza on Silvercreek Parkway North near Woodlawn Road West in Guelph.

Culprit(s) gained entry into the business “San Francisco Hot Italian Sandwiches” by breaking a window. An axe was left behind. Stolen was a laptop computer, three tablets and an undisclosed amount of cash. Estimated value for stolen property is over $1,000.

A utility room in the same plaza, which houses the video surveillance system was also broken into, and damage was caused to some of the equipment.
