(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) Sometime overnight on Friday March 19th 2021, a theft occurred at a business located on Eramosa Road near Speedvale Avenue East in Guelph. Forced entry was gained into the fenced compound by cutting a hole in the fence. Stolen were five catalytic convertors from vans that were parked on the property. Value of theft is estimated at $6,000. This type of crime continues to escalate. There have been at least 30 catalytic convertor thefts in Guelph since Christmas.
