(CITY OF GUELPH) Sometime between the hours of 3:00pm and 4:00pm on Friday February 28th 2020, a theft occurred at a grocery store located near the intersection of Paisley Road and Elmira Road South in the City of Guelph. Stolen was a purse from a customer while she was shopping. The purse is described as a black leather satchel style bag and contained a wallet, cell phone, keys and personal identification. The female culprit left the store and got into a grey vehicle waiting in the parking lot.
At 3:04pm on the same day, a similar incident occurred at another grocery store in Guelph, located near the intersection of Edinburgh Road South and Stone Road West. In this instance a purse was also stolen and is described as a black and white checkered cloth bag containing a cell phone, credit cards, cheque book and personal identification. The suspect vehicle is described as a silver Nissan sedan with damage to the driver’s side door and a loose bumper.
Police would like to speak with the person in the attached picture in regards to these thefts.
