In their continued support of community initiatives, the Mount Forest Lions Club once again made a financial contribution to Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.
The donation, made at the second meeting of the new year, included a contribution made at the end of 2017 for a total of $1,000. Before the cheque presentation, an update on the program’s work and accomplishments was offered, with positive feedback from various club members.
Donations, such as the one made by the Mount Forest Lions Club, are vital to CSGW. The program requires donations and fundraising initiatives to run the program and pay Tipster rewards. CSGW receives no government funding for these costs. When you are supporting Mount Forest Lions, you are supporting a number of community organization, such as CSGW.
