CRIME OF THE WEEK – JULY 05 – Theft

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) At approximately 4:00pm on Thursday June 10th 2021, a theft occurred at a business, located on Woodlawn Road West near Woolwich Street in Guelph. A female entered the store, selected a quantity of items, and then left the store through a fire exit to a waiting vehicle. This was observed by staff who gave chase and recovered most of the items. The female was last seen getting into the vehicle and driving off with two males. The recovered items included electric toothbrushes, electric razors and teeth whitening strips, valued at almost $3,600. It is unknown how much product the female managed to steal.

The female is described as white, brown hair, mid to late 30’s with a heavy build and was wearing a grey t-shirt and a black face mask. The two males are described as possibly Middle Eastern. The vehicle is described as a silver Dodge Grand Caravan with white duct tape over the licence plates.
