CRIME OF THE WEEK – OCTOBER 28, 2024 – Theft

(CITY OF GUELPH) At approximately 7:45pm on Saturday October 12th 2024, a theft occurred from a grocery store located on Speedvale Avenue East in Guelph. Four days later a similar theft occurred from another grocery store, located on Eramosa Road in Guelph. In both incidents two males entered the store separately but met up inside.

Stolen in the first incident was 3 cases of butter valued at $936. The males exited the store through a receiving door and were last seen leaving in a white four-door sedan. Both suspects are described as male, brown skinned, around 40 years old, 5’7” tall with medium builds. One was wearing a dark sleeveless vest and a blue and white baseball cap, and the other wore a dark winter coat and a red baseball cap.

In the second incident, 4 cases of butter worth $958 were stolen, and the males left through an emergency exit. Both males are described as having brown skin, one wearing a tan jacket, black pants and a black winter hat, and the other was wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black baseball cap.
