September is Shredding Event Month

September is known for back to school, the start of autumn and the Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) Shredding Event!

No matter where you are you are in the County of Wellington or the City of Guelph, a Shredding Event is not too far away.

MOUNT FOREST – SEPT. 14 9 A.M.

The first event on the calendar is Mount Forest on September 14. Thanks to the Wellington North Fire Service for allowing CSGW to use the parking long on the south side of the station at 381 Main St. North. The drive through event starts at 9 a.m. and runs until noon OR until the truck is full.

Thanks to sponsors Desjardin Insurance Agent Deryck West and co-operators Agent Robert J. Cottell & Associates, all funds raised from the event goes to CSGW. Customers will be charged $10 per bankers box sized quantity of documents.

GUELPH – SEPT 28 9 A.M.

CSGW will return to the Skyjack parking lot at 201 Woodlawn Rd. W. for the Sept. 28th event in Guelph. Not only is Skyjack hosting the event, but they are also sponsoring the cost of the truck, which means all proceeds from this event will go directly to CSGW.

Again, the event starts at 9 a.m. and runs until noon or until the truck is full. Last year we wrapped up at 11 a.m. in Guelph, so plan accordingly!

For those who haven’t attended a Shredding Event in the past, it is a simple drive through set up where volunteers calculate your shredding, take your cash, debit or credit, and then unload your documents to be professionally destroyed by the Wasteco truck on site.
