(CITY OF GUELPH) At approximately 11:30am on Wednesday July 31st 2024, a theft occurred outside a business, located on Speedvale Avenue East in Guelph.
A male approached the victim asking for directions to the hospital. The victim was asked to enter the details into the male’s phone and while doing so, the male stole the victim’s wallet. A short time later it was discovered the cards within the wallet were used multiple times throughout the city amounting to $3,040 in charges.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’9” tall, with a heavy build, and dark goatee, wearing glasses, a white button up polo with stripes across the chest, a grey flat cap, black shorts and black shoes.
