CRIME OF THE WEEK – MAY 15, 2023 – Theft & Fraud

(COUNTY OF WELLINGTON) In early March 2023, a theft occurred from a residential mailbox located on Eramosa-Garafraxa Townline in the Township of Centre Wellington. Obtained was a credit card which suspects fraudulently used to make several assorted purchases and withdrawals at various ATM locations within Wellington County, Guelph, Waterloo Region, and Halton Region.

A suspect still at large is described as a white male, dark hair, approximately 20-25 years old, wearing a black New York Yankees hat, a black leather vest over a dark coloured hooded sweatshirt, khaki-coloured pants, and red converse All-Star sneakers. He also had his face concealed with a black coloured scarf or mask.
