(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH) Between the dates of January 4th and January 5th 2023, similar acts of mischief occurred at three separate locations in Mount Forest.
On January 4th between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm culprit(s) clogged the toilets and overturned garbage cans in a washroom at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex. The following day during the same time period this location was targeted again. Culprit(s) set fire to toilet paper and marked swastikas and vulgar expressions on a bathroom wall.
On January 5th between the hours of 10am and 3:30pm a mischief occurred at the Mount Forest Library branch. Culprit(s) carved swastikas on a bathroom wall and plugged a toilet with paper.
Also on January 5th, a business on Main Street South was targeted. Culprit(s) marked swastikas in the restaurant’s washroom.
