(TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON) Sometime during the early morning hours on Tuesday December 13th 2022, three related thefts occurred in the Township of Mapleton.
In the first incident a blue 2016 Nissan Juke was stolen from a residence in Rothsay and has since been recovered. The second and third incident involved theft of items from vehicles parked at residences on the Twelfth and Fourteenth Line. A credit card stolen in the second incident was then used at approximately 5:15am at gas station on King Street North in Kitchener.
One suspect is described as male, light skinned, thin build, 30-40 years of age, wearing a black winter hat, green camouflage-style winter jacket, dark pants and was driving the stolen vehicle. The second suspect is described as female, light skinned, 25-30 years, dark hair, red glasses, wearing a green winter jacket, blue tie dye-style crop hoodie and pants. She was driving a red GMC Yukon.
