First Shredding Event Raised $840

It was the perfect day to prevent Identity Theft, and as a result, Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) raised $840.

Those onhand for the 2022 Mount Forest Shredding event include, from left, Laura Aston, Corbin Peter, Rozanne Ball, Rob Mattice, Leesa Keleher, Dennis Craven, Deryck West, Dave Elloway, and Wasteco representatives James Street and Rob Theuma.

Volunteers arrived early to organize the drive-thru set up at the Wellington North Fire Service parking lot on Saturday Sept 10, 2022. Customers soon arrived and patiently waited for the Wasteco truck’s arrival. Before long we were moving cars through at a rapid rate.

Thanks to everyone who brought their documents to this event, not only did they reduce the chance of Identity Theft, their financial contributions support CSGW. Our Mount Forest area patrons are always so generous, with a number of donations also being received.

The CSGW Board of Directors would like to express their appreciation to Deryck West agent – Desjardins Insurance and Agent Robert J. Cottell and Associates – The Co-operators for sponsoring this event.

If you missed out on the Mount Forest date, come see us in Guelph on September 24 at the Skyjack parking lot – 201 Woodlawn Rd W.

Please note: this will likely be the last year we have the $5/box rate.

Thank you Mount Forest!
