(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON) At approximately 6:00pm on Wednesday July 28th 2022, an attempted theft occurred at a business located on St. David Street North in Fergus. A male entered the store and put 3 items consisting of tool batteries and a torch in his nap sack. He then attempted to leave the store without paying.
The male is described as white, 5’8” tall with medium build, goatee, tattoos on forearms, wearing a camo long sleeve shirt with sleeves rolled up, a black hat with red writing, black camo pants and black boots.
He was seen arriving in a black Lincoln SUV which was discovered to have been used in a gas drive off earlier that day at approx. 2:00pm in Palmerston.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a white male, 5’8” tall, slim build, wearing an orange/yellow Under Armour hat, white bandana around his neck and a black t-shirt with “Honor Amongst Thieves” written on the back.
