CRIME OF THE WEEK – JULY 26 – Mischief

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) At approximately 11:45pm on Saturday July 3rd 2021, an act of mischief occurred at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, located on St David Street North in Fergus.

A group of three individuals were walking northbound on St David Street, when one of the individuals left the group and walked across the church parking lot towards an exterior light fixture. The individual then kicked the light knocking it off its base and across the parking lot. The damage caused is estimated at $5,000.

The suspect is described as male, white, medium-short dark hair, wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark shorts, white socks, and tan/light sneakers, and was carrying a large bag of chips.
