CRIME OF THE WEEK – MAY 17 – Theft

(COUNTY OF WELLINGTON, ON) Sometime overnight on Tuesday April 13th 2021, a theft occurred at a business located on Fourth Line in the Town of Erin. Stolen were diesel catalytic converters and emission control parts from 20 fleet vehicles.

A separate incident occurred on Thursday April 29th 2021 at approximately 11:40pm, from a business located on First Line near Arthur. Stolen were two catalytic converters from trucks that were parked at the business.

A suspect vehicle described as a white SUV, was seen leaving the area at the time of the crime.

There have also been other recent catalytic converter thefts reported in the Township of Centre Wellington, Township of Guelph-Eramosa, and the Town of Erin.
