CRIME OF THE WEEK – MARCH 19 – Theft

(CITY OF GUELPH) Between the hours of 5:30pm and 6:00pm on Sunday February 28th 2021, a theft occurred from a construction site located near Laird Road and Quarterman Road in Guelph.

Culprit(s) gained entry into two storage containers by cutting the locks with a torch. A third storage container on site had its door blocked by a large boom truck. Culprit(s) were able to shift the entire container by several feet allowing them access. Stolen were several tools with a total value of approximately $5,700.

Suspect vehicles captured on surveillance video are described as three pickup trucks, two black in colour and the third either white or silver.
