CRIME OF THE WEEK – FEBRUARY 19 – Fraud

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH) At approximately 2:30pm on Tuesday February 9th 2021, a fraudulent transaction occurred at the Shell/Tim Horton’s parking lot in Arthur. The victim met up with the suspect and was sold an iPhone 12 Pro Max for $1,500.00. When the victim determined the phone was a fake, the suspect immediately returned to the vehicle, where a driver was waiting, and they promptly left the property.

The suspect is described as male, black, wearing a black face mask, a black Canada Goose winter jacket, a dark red hooded sweatshirt, light grey sweats, and black shoes. The suspect vehicle is described as a Honda Civic, grey in colour.
