CRIME OF THE WEEK – JANUARY 22 – Break, Enter & Theft

(CITY OF GUELPH) At 5:00am on Thursday December 10th 2020, a break and enter occurred at a business, located near the intersection of Silvercreek Parkway North and Willow Road in Guelph.

An adult male was able to gain access by smashing the front window with a sledgehammer. The male accompanied by an adult female entered the building and a theft occurred. They left with the stolen items and returned at 5:23am to commit a second theft. At 7:22am the male returned and again removed items from the business. Among the merchandise stolen, were several various cell phones with an estimated value between $3,000 and $5,000.
