CRIME OF THE WEEK – FEBRUARY 01 – Thirteen-Year-Old Homicide

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) At approximately 4:42am on Thursday August 25th 2005, a stabbing occurred on Elizabeth Street in Guelph.

A resident in the area was awakened by a man calling for help and found him on his porch, bleeding from his chest. The man was taken by ambulance to hospital and died an hour later from injuries received in the stabbing. The victim was Gus Fourtounes and he was 40 years old.

This case is over thirteen years old and is still unsolved. Police are hopeful someone who knows something will come forward with new information.
