The annual County of Wellington/Wellington County OPP Property Auction was a success in June, and on Sept 13, the proceeds were presented to Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW).
The annual event, held at Parr Auctions outside of Fergus, is an opportunity for members of the public to bid on property recovered and unclaimed following police investigations. The items for sale vary each year and range from bicycles to jewelry, electronics to tools.
This year’s event raised $867.62 for the program. These funds will go towards paying Tipster rewards and generating awareness for the program.
