In a wonderful example of community support, Rotary Club Guelph Wellington recently donated $3,000 to Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.
CSGW joined other community-based programs at the Oct 17 Rotary dinner meeting, where Rotarians Michael Ruhl, Frank Scott, and Brandon Yanchus presented the cheques and congratulated the organizations.
Program Coordinator Sarah Bowers-Peter indicated that the funds would be directed to marketing tools to assist CSGW in spreading the word about the anonymous, confidential method of reporting crime.
